The textbook discusses the issues of stochastic modeling of dynamic systems based on the results of monitoring their condition. All materials are conditionally divided into tasks of analyzing the series of observations (preliminary processing and descriptive analysis, statistical verification of the properties of a series of observations, smoothing, filtering, correlation and spectral analyzes of the observation series) and the tasks of constructing stochastic models and forecasting.
The main feature of the textbook is the emphasis on the practical assimilation of theoretical material. Most of the topics are presented in the form of a compressed presentation of the theory of the issue under consideration with the detailed examples of its implementation in the form of applied algorithms and programs in the Matlab environment. The tasks with solution options are given.
The textbook is intended for full -time students in the areas of training "Information Systems and Technologies"
and "System Analysis and Management" as part of the work programs of the disciplines "stochastic modeling",
