This course is an introduction to SQL for future business analysts and data specialists. The theoretical part consistently sets out the basic concepts for the presentation of structured information in databases and data storages, the theoretical foundations of SQL are briefly given both from the point of view of mathematical logic and from the point of view of the theory of sets, the necessary information from mathematical statistics. In the practical part, the main attention is focused on writing requests for processing and analyzing structured data.
The presentation of practical material in the main part is built on the use of the dialect SQL Oracle 11G.
The course is intended for teachers and students studying in the areas of "Business Analytics", "Applied Informatics", "Applied Mathematics and Informatics". It will also be useful for specialists in the field of data analysis
