The book describes Power Query, an advanced business analysis tool built into Excel, Power Bi and other Microsoft products and designed to connect to data sources and its transformation. It is told how to process the Excel tables without the use of complex formulas and macros, choose data from several sources, combine non -consuming tables, and maintain context when forming queries. Particular attention is paid to the basic and advanced methods of canceling columns (UNPIVOT) and joint work on the reports is given the introduction of formula M into the language and show how to properly form requests, avoiding failures and “traps”. The issues of text analytics and extracting knowledge from texts, as well as analytics of social networks are considered. At the end of the book is a final project that unites and consolidates the acquired skills
