The present, fifth edition of this popular book was fully updated according to the 7th language of the PPR and includes a description of the controller of the COMPOSER dependencies, which replaced the Pear package manager, as well as new material dedicated to the VAGRANT tool and recommendations for programming standards on the PHR. This book laid a strong basis for the use of objects in the RPR code and the implementation of the basic principles of software design, as well as describes the tools and norms for the development, testing and deployment of reliable code. The first part of this book discusses key object-oriented means of the RPR language, including class declaration, inheritance, reflection and much more. Its second part is devoted to design templates, which explain the principles that determine their effectiveness, and also describes a number of classic templates for the design of corporate applications and databases. The last part discusses the tools and norms of practice to help to turn high -quality code into a successful project. This part shows how to organize collective work of developers and the release of software products using the GIT system, control the process of building projects and dependencies with Composer means, and also investigate automated testing and continuous integration strategies. Together, all these three parts are devoted to the basics of object-oriented programming, the principles of design and the standards of advanced development practice, which are designed to help the reader in the development of elegant, reliable and sustainable systems
