It was admitted by the federal educational and methodological association for the enlarged group of specialties and areas of training “Chemical Technologies” as a training manual for students of higher educational institutions students in the field of training “Chemical Technology”.
The book, using the example of the Matlab package, discusses the main aspects of the use of modern computer mathematics for modeling chemical and technological processes. A description of the interpreted Matlab programming language is given and its functional capabilities are illustrated with various examples. Using the solvers (Solvers) Matlab package, software codes for solving numerous computing mathematics problems and the problems of developing computer models of chemical and technological processes. The possibilities of applying the considered Matlab solvers to solve typical problems of computing mathematics in numerical methods are analyzed. The book is intended to study the methods of using computer mathematics, in particular Matlab, for technological calculations, mathematical modeling and optimization in the design and management of chemical and technological processes. It is recommended as a training manual to students and master"s training in the areas of training and specialties included in the UGS “Chemistry”, “Chemical Technologies”, and can also be useful to graduate students, chemical engineers engaged in calculations and estimated research of technological processes
