Practical examples of the implementation of various options for connecting peripheral equipment using the example of microcontrollers of the AVR family and software for working with this equipment. Examples of the implementation of typical tasks are given. On the example of microcontrollers of the AVR family, such common peripheral devices as input-output ports, stimers-counters, and a sequential interface are analyzed in detail. All examples are written in programming languages C/C ++.
