The connection of mathematical modeling and theory of automatic control in terms of their role in the professional training of specialists in automation of technological processes and industries is shown. The first part reveals issues of modeling by analytical and experimental methods of technological processes as management objects for the subsequent use of models when designing ACS with the necessary quality indicators. The second part discusses the issues of analysis and synthesis of linear automatic control systems for models of control objects from the standpoint of mathematical modeling.
