The publication was carried out as part of the joint publishing program of the Museum of Contemporary Art “Garage” and Artguide Editions. The book is dedicated to the German dancer and choreographer Mary Vigman. Walter Sorel, a close friend of Wigman, took away and compiled in a chronological sequence her diary entries, letters and articles about the dance so that the reader could imagine how the creative and teaching life of the great dancer was formed. This is the sixth publication in the publishing series of the Museum of Contemporary Art “Garage” Garage Dance, dedicated to the history of modern dance.
