The book examines in detail the programming of Linux nucleus drivers, the possibilities of nucleus expansion using modules are investigated. The main version of the nucleus is 5.15. An examples code were worked out and tested on dozens of various Linux installations installed from various distributions and different distribution families: Fedora, Centos, Debian, Ubuntu, Mint. Attention is paid to the architects X_64, X_86, ARM, as well as the Raspberry PI single -pay computer and devices connected via USB. The Posix standard is affected, the nucleus API, working with Raspberry Pi, system calls and connecting a variety of peripheral devices.
