The book talks about the JavaScript programming language, the development of general-purpose programs that are performed in the Node.js environment and scripts for web pages. The basics of JavaScript are given: data types, operators, work with numbers, lines, date and time, massifs, functions, classes (both old and new syntax), iterators, generators and class Promise. The work with a debugger built into the editor of Visual Studio Code is explained. It is described about the modules, tools for working with the file system and programming web servers. The object model of the document is described. Funds for working with web page elements, the page and browser itself and AJAX technology (including Fetch API), as well as ready-made software packages for the development of websites, in particular Webpack.
