The textbook was created in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard in the direction of preparation 050700 - special (defectological) education (qualification bachelor).
The textbook considers a set of objective prerequisites for the process of informatization of education, and in particular the computerization of a special school, the positive and negative aspects of the use of ICT in education are highlighted, the methodological foundations of the study of computer science in a special school are explained, and specialized and non -specialized software tools are given that have received the greatest Popularity among practitioners. The practical part of the textbook introduces the reader to the package of programs used for general educational and corrective purposes.
