The textbook is included in the series Information Security for students of grades 2–11. It is intended for conducting information security lessons in grades 7–9 (computer science, OBZh), as well as for extracurricular activities of students in the form of a course of choice of schoolchildren.
The manual is focused on modern trends in the field of safe work on the Internet, including sociocultural resources available to schoolchildren, new means of global media environment, digital devices in everyday life.
It consists of the sections “Cyberspace”, “Cyberculture” and “Cyber” to study the material and carry out practical work in grades 7, 8 and 9, respectively, and the section “Check yourself” for the final control.
