The training manual presents the main provisions of the management of information resources in research work. The first chapter considers the issues of information resources as a factor in modern knowledge. The second chapter is devoted to the theoretical foundations of the basic components of the information resource management process -informational processes and information technologies. The third chapter considers the world and national information resources market. Within the framework of the fourth chapter, applied aspects of information resources, processes and technologies are examined in detail on the example of educational and scientific activity.
