The textbook is part of the educational and methodological kit in computer science for grades 2-4, including an approximate work program, textbooks in printed and electronic forms, workbooks, methodological manuals. It ensures the achievement of objective results of the subject area "Mathematics and Informatics": mastering the basics of logical and algorithmic thinking, the ability to work with tables, schemes, graphs and diagrams, the ability to represent, analyze and interpret data, acquisition of initial ideas about computer literacy.
