Fundamentals of information security

The textbook presents basic information about the essence of information security, gives a characteristic of information systems as the most common and rather vulnerable objects of information security. The authors provide methods for analyzing and evaluating potential threats and risks, give an overview of approaches to the formation of an effective system of information and basic standards in this area. Separately, the issues of managing the events and incidents of information security are being considered. In addition, a brief overview of cryptographic methods is given in the textbook sewing out information, as well as methods and means used to counteract the threats of information security.
