This book describes the development and implementation of software for distributed real -time systems using the “bottom up” approach. The problems found in the software projects of real -time systems are highlighted, a new method of simple and effective implementation of all stages of software development is presented.
The topics under consideration:
- the basics of real-time systems, including real time architecture and distributed real-time systems,
- real-time operating system, covering the concepts of tasks, memory and input management,
- a detailed step-by-step construction of the core of the real time operating system, which is then used to test various implementations of a higher level,
- periodic and aperiodic planning, resource management and distributed planning,
- the process of application development- from methods- from methods designing high levels to the details of design and implementation of low levels,
- real-time programming languages and methods of failure tolerance
