Development of chat bots and conversational interfaces

Dialog interfaces are the best way to interact the machine with us in the human language. Chatbots and voice user interfaces are two areas of dialogue interfaces. Chatbots are the data controlled in real time, to interact with users in natural language and, taking into account the context. Voice user interfaces are controlled by voice and are able to recognize speech and answer users with a voice. This book discusses both types of dialogue user interfaces developed using API for various platforms. A design approach is used that allows you to understand the principles of constructing such user interfaces, and the best practices of their deployment are given.
We will start with the development of a simple botmicaner based on the API Facebook Messenger to understand the basics of their design. Then we will move on to the design of the tasks model to implement complex solutions, such as ordering and planning using the Google Dialogflow and Microsoft Bot Framework platforms.
Then we will engage in voice user interfaces that can interact with users using speech using the Amazon Echo and Google Home devices.
