This manual contains theoretical foundations and description of the main methods and means of information support for the life cycle of objects of the transport complex, including programs for the preparation of interactive electronic technical manuals and means of creating PDM systems (management data on product data), in order to generate skills in management of the life cycle of high -tech products and objects of the transport complex. The work discusses the main tools for creating storage facilities of electronic technical documentation using PDM STEP Suite, creating a product structure with a controlled configuration in a PDM system, transmitting a product model between CAD using the STEP exchange file, and creating interactive electronic technical manuals using TG BULDER.
