Automatic decision -making systems and support for decision -making are widely used in various areas - from preventing aircraft clashes to screening cancer of the mammary gland. When developing such systems, it is important to take into account various sources of uncertainty, carefully observing the balance between several goals. This book is a complete introduction to the theory of decision -making algorithms in conditions of uncertainty, including the formulations of the main mathematical problems and methods for solving them. The main attention is paid to planning and training with reinforcement, although some of the methods presented are based on elements of learning with the teacher and optimization. Algorithms are implemented in the Julia programming language.
