The purpose of the developed methodological recommendations is to help colleagues of various professional levels in finding the necessary bibliometric information on the three largest political databases - Web of Science Core Collection (Wos CC), Scopus and the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RINC) The work consists of two parts. The first discusses the main search methods for organizations (affiliations) for all three information resources. The second part focuses on the basic methods of searching by personalities (authors) also on all three databases.
All actions are considered in detail “step by step”, which makes them very useful in practical work.
This methodological manual is focused on the educational environment, including students" teaching skills in working with these tools, as well as the environment of scientific specialists who should be able to navigate in the information space, including the most popular and important bibliometric tools
