Based on the analysis conducted in the process, it was shown that the current software existing economic analysis is oriented almost exclusively on solving financial statements. For a large number of other typical tasks of economic analysis, unified, publicly available software is absent. Based on this, the work concludes about the feasibility of expanding the functionality of software applications to a wider range of tasks of economic analysis. In addition, in the conditions of sharply gaining popularity of cloud computing technologies, the question arises of the possibility and feasibility of changing the paradigm of the design and distribution of software applications of this kind
