The textbook is a logical continuation of the previous work “Client Technologies of Web Design: HTML5 and CSS3” and is intended for the development of technologies for expanding the functionality of web pages and giving them genuine dynamism and interactivity at the client level. The JavaScript language is still the most popular language development language for the web browser. The book emphasizes the current version of the ES2015 standard (ES6) and outdated opportunities are not considered. DOM technology is highlighted in a separate part of the book, as it is independent, but can be implemented through JavaScript. The DOM potential, expressed in the possibility of any dynamic change in the content of the web page, allows you to create not just web pages, but web applications. A textbook can be useful both for organizing the educational process within the framework of the studied technologies and for independent work
