The book is devoted to the development of artificial intelligence in terms of computer vision and combines approaches to consider this topic at the intersection of biology and mathematical modeling.
The first part of the book discusses the biological foundations of vision: the reader gets acquainted with various aspects of visual perception and finds out what neurons structures provide him, what processes occur in the brain when recognizing images. The second part presents various structures of mathematical models - neural networks, and the principles of their work. In particular, deep, sparkle neural networks, machine learning and generative competition networks are affected. The last chapter is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of consciousness.
