Robert Sedzhvik carefully rewritten, significantly expanded and updated his popular book "Algorithms for C ++" to get a modern and exhaustive description of important fundamental algorithms and data structures. Together with Christopher Van Vick, he developed new C ++ implementations that express these methods in compressed but visual form, and also provide programmers with practical tools to verify them in real applications.
In the book "Algorithms for C ++", many new algorithms are presented, and their explanations are much more detailed than in the previous edition. The new structure of the text and detailed illustrations to it, together with related comments, significantly improve the presentation of the material. In parts of 1-4 books, fundamental algorithms, data structures, sorting and search are considered. It contains a detailed description of the fundamental structures of data and algorithms for sorting, searching and related applications. Although, in fact, the material of the book is applicable to programming in any language, the implementation of Van Vika and Sedzhvik uses the natural relationship between C ++ classes and the implementation of abstract data types (ATD) Part 5 of the book discusses algorithms on columns that play an increasingly important role in many applications, such as network connectivity, designing electronic circuits, compiling graphs, processing transactions and releasing resources.

About the authors
Robert Sedzhvik is a professor of computer sciences at Princeton University. He holds the position of director at Adobe Systems, worked in research teams in Xerox Parc, the Institute of Defense Analysis and Inria. Together with Philippe Flajolet, I wrote the book An Introduction to the Analysis of Algorithms.
Christopher J. Van Vic - professor of mathematics and computer sciences and at the same time deputy dean at the University of Drew. He worked in a research team in Bell Laboratories. Both Sedzhvik and Van Vick received their degrees of Doctor of Philosophy at Stanford University under the leadership of Donald E. Knut
