The study of a dust or complex plasma is a rapidly developing direction of modern physics, including various sections of philantal low-temperature plasma physics. The dust of the plasma is an ionized gas containing charged fine particles of the condensed substance. The dust of the plasma is widespread in nature and is used in a number of technological processes. Considering the various types of dust plasma, the monograph contains a detailed description of the unique experimental and theoretical results obtained both in ground experiments and in microgravity conditions. Leading in this area, specialists discusses the properties of a gas-discharge, cryogenic, magnetized, nuclear-excited dust plasma, as well as plasma excited by ultraviolet radiation. Particular attention is paid to astrophysical aspects of dust plasma physics, numerical modeling of its properties, interdisciplinary issues and possible applications.
