The ninth volume of the full collection of works by F. Nietzsche contains drafts and other records related to the period of 1880-1882. First of all, these are fragments associated with the work of the philosopher over the "Morning Zarya" and "Cheerful Science". Among the drafts and records of 1881 are extremely important fragments devoted to the eternal return and problems of knowledge. Part of the volume is notes made by Nietzsche while reading the works of Descartes and Spinoza (in the presentation of K. Fisher), B. Pascal, Art. MILL, SPENSER, R.U. Emerson, as well as artistic works of French authors (especially Wandering and Countess de Remuza)
