This work summarizes and complements the results of the study formulated by the author in the magazine "Oil, Gas and Law". The first part is theoretical and is devoted to a comparative legal analysis of issues arising in connection with the recognition and execution of reservations on compensation for losses. Along with the review of Russian judicial practice, the author paid great attention to foreign court decisions. The second part presents the arbitration scenario that can be used in the conduct of seminars or student competitions.
