This publication is a commentary on the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, prepared by a team of employees from the University of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, workers from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, and representatives of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The commentary has a scientific-practical nature, as it provides scientifically substantiated solutions to the majority of current issues in law enforcement practice related to the qualification of crimes and various forms of criminal liability.
The work formulates specific recommendations for the application of criminal law norms based on normative and doctrinal rules of crime qualification, legal positions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, informational letters from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation. The preparation of the commentary involved analyzing and summarizing court practice in specific cases, prosecutor's oversight practice, as well as other scientific research conducted at the University of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation.
The legislation is provided as of December 1, 2022.
The commentary may be of significant interest to prosecutors, judges, investigators, lawyers, as well as students, postgraduates, professors of law schools and faculties, researchers, and other individuals interested in criminal law and procedure, and criminal-executive law.
