The collection of "victims of black rain" includes stories that Caeii Nakazawa painted in the late 60s, when an unspoken taboo reigned in Japanese society to mention the tragedies in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Nakadzava became one of the first authors in Japan who dared to tell about the victims of the atomic bombing, which even after decades could not return to normal life. These heavy and sometimes cruel stories can now be perceived ambiguously, but they give an excellent idea of what emotional state Caei Nakazava was at that time
