This book is a collection of articles of leading Russian -speaking scientists and bloggers studying comics in the field of literary criticism, history, Japanese, filming, and sociology. The book contains four sections acquaintance of the reader with the specifics of comics depending on their nationality (Slavic, Japanese, American, European comic) and forms of existence (diaphylm, film comic, advertising technologies) The collection was prepared mainly according to the materials of the fourth Russian conference of comic book researchers, held in the spring of 2019.
The book is addressed to a wide circle of readers - librarians, book business specialists, philologists, culturalists, film science, Japanists, as well as comic book authors and all those who are fond of the ninth form of art.
