The monograph summarizes the materials of experimental studies of the characteristics of the biological action of accelerated charged particles of a wide energy spectrum - individual components of galactic cosmic radiation. The characteristics of biological reactions in the acute period after exposure to radiation of different quality and in a long term are considered. The nature of the dose dependencies of damage developing under the influence of accelerated charged particles and cosmic radiation during space flights at the cellular, tissue, organ and organism levels is analyzed. Data on the value of the coefficients of relative biological efficiency of the studied radiation is given.
