Population of Russia 2019: twenty-seventh annual demographic report

The twenty -seventh issue of a series of annual analytical reports of the A.G. Vishnevsky NRU HSE, who have been regularly published since 1993. In the next report, the analysis of the changing demographic situation in the context of the conducted demographic policy in Russia with an in -depth study of the main demographic processes - changes in the number and age structure of the population, the birth rate and planning of the family, the mortality and life expectancy, international and domestic -Russian migration. The peculiarity of this report is to emphasize the analysis of long -term and conjunctural changes in demographic processes and migration flows with the involvement of a methodological approach, considering demographic and migration events crazy about the life of generations born in different years, which significantly complements our knowledge about the current changes in the Russian demographic situations and allows you to more carefully evaluate the problematic issues and the effectiveness of demographic, family, migration policy at different stages of the country"s social history. The analysis is based on the official data of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), ministries and departments of the Russian Federation, international organizations and national statistical services of foreign countries, own calculation indicators obtained using these data, the results of special selective research, and scientific publications.
