Giovanni"s life is full of hardships, deprivation and hardships. His mother is sick, his father disappeared a few years ago, and he himself carries newspapers for pennies and works in the printing house. On the eve of the holiday of the Milky Way, he went for milk for his mother, but in a day he was so exhausted that he fell asleep on the hill along the way. Giovanni woke up from the noise of a train, who went down to him with the stars of the sky. Mysteriously finding himself in the carriage, he immediately saw his old friend, Campanella.
Suddenly the train released a pair of milk color, carefully jerked forward, and then soared into the sky and went on a fabulous journey along the Milky Way.
“Night on the Galactic Railway” is a piercing parable filled with magic and symbolism, which can be considered one of the central works of Kenji Miyazava. The inspiration for her was the author of the author to South Sakhalin, which he made in 1923 shortly after the tragic death of the younger sister of Toshi. Miyazava worked on this story until his death in 1933, but did not have time to finish it, leaving behind four options for the manuscript.
