In just a few years, he became the leading genre magazine in the country, laying the foundation for future successes of young Soviet science fiction. The book traces the path of the “ranger” from the first numbers to the closure, describes the prerequisites for the genre boom of the twenties, and the aspects of the influence of the “ranger” on the development of science fiction in the prewar years are affected.
The founder of the "World Rastype" Vladimir Alekseevich Popov is one of the first in the galaxy of the editors who formed the unique face of Soviet science fiction, now, unfortunately, is completely forgotten. On the pages of the book, an attempt was made to eliminate this historical injustice.
The book is richly illustrated, equipped with a nominal index compiled by V. Borisov.
