In 2003, the philosopher Susan Bordeaux wrote that we live in the “Empire of images”, and recently this thesis has been more and more evidence. Today, when the camera is in every smartphone, and our activity in social networks is growing every day, we are drowning in a stream of images. Publishing our photos in social networks, where anyone can see them, we all in a sense became celebrities. That is why our image - the way we look in the photo - occupies us more and more. Every day we are filled with millions of photographs of magnificent women whose beauty is idealized and praised, but at the same time is in the threat of merciless criticism, since capitalism appropriated it and turned it into an object of consumption.
