About the book

Meet two Victorian geniuses: hell Loveis - mathematics, an avid player, protoproprammist, daughter of Lord Byron, and Charles Babbiga - an eccentric, but unsuccessful inventor.

After reading in 1842 a description of Babbige"s plans for a giant computing machine, Loveis added a comment to this work - they were three times longer than the original text. Her notes contain the first programming ideas - and this is a hundred years before creating a computer! Unfortunately, Lovelyis died of cancer ten years after the publication of her observations, and Babbage never built his car.

But do not despair! "Incredible adventures of Lavelis and Babbiga" are a graphic novel about an alternative universe, where our heroes completed their car. They use it to overcome crazy economic crises, fight with a scourge of spelling errors, explore the limits of mathematics and, of course, fight crime - for the benefit of London and science!

This comic is full of curious historical facts (which are accompanied by references to real documents) and twisted schemes for the device of the Babbiga steam computer. Exciting and extremely unusual fantastic reading.
