G.F. Lovecraft. Writing in the night

The creator of the "myth of Kthulhu", Arkham and the ominous "necronomicon", G. F. Lovecraft is posthumously recognized as one of the most influential authors of his time.
His childhood was marked by tragedy. Lovecraft"s father, a wandering salesman, has gone crazy. In 1893, he had to be placed in the Batler’s psychiatric hospital in Provice, Rhiznieland, where he remained until his death.
A painful child, Lovecraft was an insatiable reader. He adored the works of Edgar Allan PO and was very interested in astronomy. In adolescence, Lovecraft suffered a nervous breakdown and became a recluse. He read, studied and wrote, sitting down after midnight and waking up by noon. During the recluse, he began to invent and publish the first stories in his inimitable style.
Countless fans of Lafcraft seems to be not from this world. But what kind of person was the "recluse from Providence"?
