150 years ago, men and women lived very differently. Women could not vote in the elections and earn money. They could not always dispose of their own body. And only when women united and began to fight for their rights, did changes begin to occur.
Norwegian author Marta Breen and illustrator Jenny Jurdal came up with a comic book in which they easily and clearly talk about the history of the female movement, about the dramatic moments and the great victories in the struggle of women for freedom, equality, and nursing.
In Norway, the book was first published in March 2018, and its first circulation was sold in a month.
The book was on the list of the best children"s books in 2018 according to The Guardian. The rights to the publication of the book were sold in 20 countries - from Albania to the USA and Japan.

Marta Breeen (born 1976) - an author of a number of works in the non -fiction genre, including research on the role of women on the Norwegian musical stage, the book Born by Theminist and bestseller "60 women who are worth to find out ", created In collaboration with illustrator Jenny Jurdal.
