In the universe, the DC event KnightFall represents one of the most important milestones in Batman"s history. In the original story “The Fall of the Knight”, who saw the light in 1993, the villain Bane breaks his dark knight, forcing the hero to go into the shadows for a while. Batman turns for help to Jean-Paul Valley, known under the heroic name Azrail. While Wayne is restored after the injury, Valley becomes the defender of Gotham and the new Batman. He defeats Bane and begins to establish his own orders in the city, acting very hard and not experiencing any pity for opponents. Jean-Paul was so carried away by a new role that the real Batman, ready to return to duty again, had to fight him in order to regain the right to protect the city.
