"Trap with prunes" is the second comic book Marzhan Satrapy after "Persopolis". In the form of an oriental fairy tale, Satrapy tells the story of his uncle, a famous Iranian musician Naser Ali Khan. After his wife was broken by his beloved Tar, Nasser Ali goes to bed to die, because life without music completely loses its meaning. The comic describes the reader eight days in which there are memories of his life, the future of children, and meeting with death. Satrapy has a subtle sense of reality, it skillfully interprets the spirit of the Old and New East in its graphic novels - so that the themes of her works touch hearts in any corner of the world. In 2005, the Tsyplenok with prunes received the main prize at the international comic book festival in the Angulus, and in 2011 its adaptation was nominated for the Golden Leo at the Venice Film Festival
