In 1924, the philosopher Moritz Schlik and the mathematician Hans Khan, who taught at the University of Vienna, united with the sociologist-reform of Otto Neurat, the director of the Vienna socio-economic museum, and created the so-called “Vienna circle”. Soon, Rudolf Karnap, Karl Menger, Kurt Gödel joined the circle, and among those who actively interacted with the circle were Ludwig Wittgenstein, Karl Popper and Bertrand Russell. So there was a philosophy of logical positivism, one of the fundamental and most significant scientific and philosophical movements of the 20th century.
