In this parable, the Father is meant God, and under the prodigal son - a repentant sinner. At the prodigal son, every person is similar, who is removed by his soul from God and gives him a self-willed, sinful life. With his sins, he ruins his soul and loses all the gifts (life, health, strength, ability), which received from God. When the sinner, formed, brings God sincere repentance, with humility and hope on his mercy, the Lord, as the father of merciful, rejoices with the angels with his sinner"s appeal. He forgives him all his sins, no matter how great they were, and returns to him their grace and gifts, taking his kingdom.
The story of the senior son Savior teaches us that every Christian must sincerely want to save all people to rejoice in the appeal of sinners, not to envy God"s love for them and not consider themselves worthy of more than those who appeal to God from His former lawless life
