The work of A.P. Aleksandrova, issued mainly during his work at the Institute of Physical Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, as well as in laboratory No. 2 of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR from 1946 to 1955. The results of research and developments in the field of thermodythusion separation of isotopes, obtaining nuclear materials (deater and tritium) were presented , technologies of nuclear reactors, testing materials, creating measuring instruments and technical means for experimentation. In each thematic section, the work is located in chronological order. Of particular interest are the materials of experimental studies and technical developments in the field of thermodyffusion separation of uranium isotopes in the UF6 liquid phase. A.P. Aleksandrov and his employees not only developed the theoretical foundations of the method and conducted deep studies of physical processes taking place in thermodyffusion columns, but also developed equipment for working with uranium hexaffeoride in production conditions, made the energy consumption for the production of a given degree of enrichment and technical and economic indicators of the method . All materials of this section, as well as most of the articles placed in other thematic sections of Tom, are published for the first time. Documentary materials (letters, notes addressed to the leadership of the country and the nuclear industry, etc) are also published, compiled in the same period and related mainly to issues of building nuclear reactors for various purposes.
