This collection of problems and exercises in arithmetic for 5-6 grades of secondary school (first published in 1954) is a source of useful practical information for students. The collection is divided into thematic chapters: on divisibility of numbers, on common and decimal fractions, on percentages and proportions. The authors provide a sufficient number of problems for each topic to reinforce the material studied. In addition, informational tables are provided as reference: squares of single and double-digit numbers, circumference length, circle area, conversion of some Russian and other measures into metric, etc. With the answers at the end of the collection, students have the opportunity to check the correctness of their tasks.
