This collection contains 61 songs: wedding ritual, majestic, lamentations and cries, game, as well as round dance, circular, lyrical. The songs were recorded in the villages and villages of the Chusova River Basin in the Sverdlovsk and Perm regions (in 1973 and 1975), where there was a stable folk-sand tradition.
Analyzing the recorded material, the author drew attention to a kind of stable musical and rhythmic organization of songs accompanying the wedding ritual in this part of the region of the Middle Urals. This feature of wedding songs has become the basis for the preparation of this collection.
The collection will be interesting to musicologists, useful as educational and methodological material for students of secondary and higher musical educational institutions, will replenish the repertoire of professional, educational, amateur folk ads
