The book contains simple tasks and examples that will help a third grader continue to master basic arithmetic rules of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The tasks are divided thematically and become more complex from the beginning of the book to its end: starting from counting within a thousand and ending with division and multiplication of multi-digit numbers by three-digit numbers. In addition, the child will become familiar with simple fractions, begin to study basic geometry rules, and learn how to correctly pronounce and write multi-digit numbers. At the end of the book, there are tasks and examples for mental math, along with answers to each task. This edition will be useful for both elementary school teachers and parents who engage in additional activities with their children. Reprint of the 1941 edition.
