Georgy Georgievich Demidov (1908-1987) was a physicist, a student of Landau, a prisoner of the Kolyma camps, an outstanding Russian writer, author of stories and novellas about the life of Gulag prisoners. In the publishing program of the Museum of the History of the Gulag and the Memory Foundation, in collaboration with Ivan Limbakh Publishing House, with the participation of the Museum of the History of Russian Literature named after V.I. Dal and the publishing house 'Vozvrashchenie', the Collected Works of Georgy Demidov in 6 volumes are being released. The 6th volume includes Georgy Demidov's letters to his wife and daughter, his correspondence with Varlam Shalamov, several stories and plays by Shalamov dedicated to Demidov, memories of Valentina Georgievna - the writer's daughter, articles and reviews from different years about his work and literary legacy. For the first time, the most complete bibliography of Georgy Georgievich's publications starting from the 1990s has been compiled. This volume also includes unique documents and photographs from the writer's family archive that have not been published before.
