The third volume covers the most full -fledged plots of the household fairy tales of the peoples of Dagestan: Avartsev, Dargins, Kumykov, Laks, Lezgin, Nogais, Rutulov, Tabasaranians, Tatas, Tatovs. Both samples of domestic fairy tales itself and texts containing signs of other genres are included: parables, fairy tales about animals, fairy tales, jokes, etc. In the book, along with the plot widely known in world folklore, there are also original options and versions that are characteristic only for only for the peoples of Dagestan. Tales are grouped by type of plots in accordance with the principle of ideological and thematic unity. The community and national specificity of Dagestan household fairy tales is a vivid reflection of multilingual, but in many ways a unified culture of the peoples of multinational Dagestan, and in this sense this publication is unique. Most of the works in Russian are published for the first time.
