Club Profintern - a building that had many names in its centuries -old history: Diocesan House, Club Profintern, House of Culture named after Yakova Sverdlova, House of Culture of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate. It appeared at the beginning of the 20th century, quietly watched the revolution from the depths of the Cathedral Square (now the area of 1905), took the military regiment during the Civil War, raised a new Soviet man within the clubs of the club, gave the first refuge of the theater of the young spectator, and later Sverdlovsk Rock club. Its location has a multilayer history and no less multilayer architecture. And everything here is determined by a simple pattern: the inhabitants of Yekaterinburg, and then Sverdlovsk, were passionately dreamed of. The semantic and architectural transformations of the building, which will be discussed in this publication, tell us about this. The purpose of this book is to bring the reader to the club Profintern and pay attention to his condition in order to find ways to preserve it
