The publication reveals the architectural features and the history of the club building of Samara (Kuibyshev) of the club named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky. The club, built in the early 1930s at the intersection of Pionerskaya and Stepan Razin streets (former passage named after Dzerzhinsky), is one of the most striking buildings of mature constructivism in Samara. In a rapidly developing country of tips, the club assigned a key role in creating a new social structure based on Soviet ideology. The significance of this role was in numerous functions: from interest in interest to mass socio-political events. Today, clubs of the 1930s are the most interesting part of the architectural heritage. The Dzerzhinsky club played a noticeable role in Kuibyshev’s public life in the 1940-1950s. During all these years, he performed the function of the city jazz club. It sounds paradoxically, but the orchestra of the NKVD orchestra was the first in the city of Jazz Big Band, since Dzerzhinka was always a departmental club of power structures. In addition to historical value, the club has indisputable architectural significance. The publication provides original drawings, plans, historical photos and documents related to the club. The authors hope that the publication will contribute to the preservation of this valuable model of Soviet club construction for future generations
